James made his stage debut aged just eight, as a Munchkin in the RSC's acclaimed production of 'The Wizard Of Oz'. As a child actor he went on to appear in many major productions including the world premiere of 'Scrooge - The Musical', for which he can be heard on the original cast recording. He also appeared on television in series such as 'Boon' for ITV.
At 18 James studied for a Degree in Drama at Exeter University and he later trained as a professional actor at Drama Studio London.
In recent years James has appeared in many stage productions spanning the genres of comedy, musical theatre, Shakespeare and drama. He can also be seen in a number of short films.
